A 3-day fun filled event where 40 shapers from 17 Hubs across the US and Mexico came together. This initiative was proudly co-created by the Global Shapers Hubs of Austin and Houston, the experience invited Shapers to embrace a little “weird” - bringing their full selves, challenging assumptions, exchanging perspectives, and building meaningful relationships across cities and borders.
Across the weekend, the journey moved from identity, belonging, and authentic connection, to critical thinking, regional challenges, and shared learning, and finally to commitment, collaboration, and community action. Through conversations, activities, and shared experiences, participants explored how different perspectives can deepen understanding, spark new ideas, and strengthen our collective ability to create impact.
Being “weird” in this context means being bold, curious, honest, and willing to think beyond what is familiar. As Global Shapers, we are here to connect across differences, ask bigger questions, imagine new possibilities, and turn those ideas into meaningful action in our communities.
